Facial Sugar Scrub
Do you know that sugar is more antibacterial than salt? Do you know that it is an antioxidant? Sugar, when used in skincare is a gentle exfoliant that does not cause stinging to the skin. Sugar is hydrophilic, meaning its chemical structure holds on to water which helps skin retain moisture when applied topically. Facial Sugar Scrub promotes skin renewal, can be used on sensitive skin, and is a natural exfoliant like no other.
FACIAL SUGAR SCRUB SKINCARE BENEFITS:
- Brightens Skin
- Anti-aging
- Hydrates Skin
- Pore Cleansing Scrub
- Keeps Skin Smooth
- Glowing Skin Remedy
THE PROCESS
We start by hand grinding organic cane sugar (which naturally contains skin-loving minerals), until it is almost powdery. Then we add esterified Vitamin C (the gentlest form for the skin) to brighten and support collagen, MSM for more collagen support and skin strengthening, and allantoin to help calm reduce redness/inflammation and heal wounds. Vitamin E and Aloe Vera are mixed in to provide extra hydration, plumping, and protection. The resulting mixture is then made the slightest bit foamy by adding a gentle surfactant to deeply cleanse and rinse off easily. Finally, we add three unique types of therapeutic Australian tea tree essential oils, lemon, regular, and lavender. These three oils benefit skin health plus smell uplifting and citrusy!
